One of the floating boat school, Billdohor, Natore.

FotoDocument is pleased to invite you to the exhibition launch of FotoDevelopment which marks the fourth and last in our current series of photo essays documenting positive environmental initiatives from around the world.

FotoDocument’s key partner, Southern Railway, is hosting the exhibitions as part of a year-long rolling programme, along the seventy-metre east wall at Brighton station and throughout the south-east rail network. The new exhibitions can be viewed at Brighton station from 14th April 2013 for three months.

FotoDevelopment focuses on new and renewable technologies in the developing world and features photo essays by documentary photographers Khaled Hasan and Abir Abdullah from Bangladesh.

E.ON, which is seeking to develop the Rampion Offshore Wind Farm and is a world leader in renewable technology, has generously sponsored these new photo essays.

Please join us on Tuesday 23rd April 6pm at The Old Market bar (11a Upper Market Street, Brighton BN3 1AS) for the exhibition launch event which will be opened by the Mayor of Brighton, Bill Randall. We will preview the work of the photographers together and listen to speakers from E.ON, Renewable World and the School of Global Studies, University of Sussex.

After the formal part of the launch, please stay on for a delicious curry and sounds from DISCO2. Drinks available at the bar.
