ARTIST TALK WITH FRANCESCA MOORE

Lewes, UK. Lewes Bonfire Night Celebrations. The annual 5th November celebrations in Lewes, East Sussex, are the biggest bonfire night celebrations in the world. This years celebrations fall on Saturday 4th November.

 

 

We facilitated an artist talk with Francesca Moore at Onca gallery, Brighton, on Saturday 4th November about her most recent work fermă which focuses on Romanian farming within the current EU context.

It was a fascinating discussion centring around her artistic practice and approach but which of course forayed into the complex landscape of whether the EU has benefitted, penalised or simply ignored these farmers.
