Bioregional

Bioregional champions a better, more sustainable way to live. We work with partners to create better places for people to live, and work and do business.

Our ambition is simple. We want to inspire people to live happy, healthy lives within the natural limits of the planet, leaving space for wildlife and wilderness. We call this One Planet Living.

Perhaps best known for being the charity behind the UK’s first mixed-use eco-village, BedZED in south London, Bioregional has been working in Brighton since 1999. The main project so far has been the award-winning ‘One Brighton’ community, a development of 172 apartments next to Brighton railway station. Bioregional is currently working with Brighton & Hove City Council and other partner organisations on its One Planet City initiative.
